This tool helps you slice tomatoes evenly.
Simply squeeze the holder's spring-loaded handles, and the head grasps a tomato securely as you draw a knife through the slots.
Slots are 1/8 of an inch wide--about the thinnest slice possible.
Jump a slot or two for thicker slices.
Use the holder for cutting onions, lemons, and limes as well.
At 7-1/2 inches long overall, the aluminum holder works only for small and medium tomatoes and onions--up to about 3 inches in diameter.
