- Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash in warm, soapy water.
- Before each cooking use, season pan with unsalted vegetable shortening.
- For gas or electric stovetop use, always use moderate heat. Overheating will result in the loss of nonstick performance, as well as discoloration of the pan.
- Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces. Nylon or silicone utensils are recommended.
